Charred Brussels Sprouts with Lemon & Almonds
Description
These Brussels sprouts are bright, nutty and irresistibly crisp-edged, perfect for sprout lovers, and surprisingly popular with those who usually avoid them. Charring the sprouts gives them a smoky, caramelised depth, while lemon zest lifts the flavour and toasted almonds add crunch and warmth. It’s a simple, modern take on a classic festive vegetable.
Prep the sprouts the day before and finish them in minutes, making this one of the most effortless sides on the Christmas table.
